How to convert megabits per second to megabytes per second
1 Mbps = 0.125 MB/s. Multiply the number of megabits per second by 0.125 to get megabytes per second.
Example: 10 Mbps is 1.25 MB/s. To go the other way, 1 MB/s = 8 Mbps.
Divide by 8. A 100 Mbps connection downloads about 12.5 MB each second.
