How to convert a unit
Pick what you want to measure, such as length or weight. Type your number on the left and choose the unit you have. Choose the unit you want on the right and the answer shows at once. You can also type in the right box and the left box changes. Press the swap button to flip the two units.
Under the main box you see the same number in every other unit of that kind, so you do not have to change the unit again and again. Tap any box to copy it.

One to one converters
If you only need one thing, such as kilometres to miles or kilograms to pounds, use the one to one section. Each pair has its own small converter that works in both directions, so you do not need to choose anything. Press the arrow on a pair to open it in the full converter with every other unit.

Good to know
MB and MiB are not the same
Phone and hard disk makers count 1 MB as 1,000,000 bytes. Computers often count in steps of 1,024 and call it MiB. Both are in the list, so you can see the small difference. Internet speed in Mbps is in bits, and file size in MB is in bytes, so 100 Mbps is about 12.5 MB each second.
Land units change by state
A guntha is 1,089 square feet and a cent is about 435.6 square feet. Words such as bigha and kanal can mean different sizes in different states, so we only include the ones with a fixed size. Check your local land record if the number matters for a purchase.
Fuel economy goes the other way
More km/L is better, but fewer L/100 km is better. The converter handles this for you, so 20 km/L shows as 5 L/100 km.
